The down low on women’s sexual health.
Insight
In Australia, many young women don’t feel they can have honest conversations about their sex lives with their GPs. Often, women seeking contraceptives are prescribed the pill without even being told about alternatives that may better suit their needs. When it comes to information seeking, it seems that it is always a compromise between either relatable and engaging or accessible and credible.
Our solution
Women deserve to have control over their own bodies. Our mission is to cultivate a space where women can feel confident and assured that they’re making the right choice for themselves. MSD already had a women’s health brand (Contraceptive Match), but it wasn’t doing the job of communicating that contraception was a journey and wasn’t giving us a wide enough platform to discuss sexual health more broadly. To solve this problem, Paper + Spark embarked on refreshing Contraceptive Match and turning it into a broader beacon of knowledge and information. The platform would continue to target young Australian women and equip them with the tools to make informed choices for their sexual health, whilst ensuring the tone of voice is relatable and the content is engaging.
